PlayOnline and Square Enix are once again winding up for another update to their online RPG title Final Fantasy 11 (also available on Xbox 360). The FFXI Gil game official website has announced today that the newest version update of the game will be going live this March and will feature a lot of new content.

Fans of Square Enix's FFXI Gil game (also available on Xbox 360) who have a knack for drawing, listen up. The development team has announced that they will be running a Fanart contest during the upcoming Doll Festival this March.

This special body was created to deal with illegal dealings, transactions or what have you. In their latest report, the Special Task Force was able to ban 5,420 accounts due to illegal fishing. They were also able to ban the accounts of hunters engaged in notorious monster monopolization for Real Money Transaction. In addition, the task force was able to discover 200 accounts that formed a single organization involved in RMT.

Although illegal on many MMORPGs, the buying and selling of in-game items and even characters using real world money is still rampant. Among those MMOs that frown upon Real Money Transactions (RMT) is Final Fantasy 11 Online (Xbox 360, PC).

Vana'diel residents, heads up! Square Enix and PlayOnline is currently running a New Year in-game event for FFXI Gil game for both the Xbox 360 and MMORPG platforms. It began last December 31 and will end on January 14 at midnight.

Every day that it's sitting on auction, you're losing money. Because that auction slot could be selling something else and it's tied up selling this one item. Fast sales are usually better than big sales. Also, if you're selling a crafting ingredient, you can bet the demand is going to be higher in the town with the relevant craft. If you have cockatrice meat, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to sell it than Windurst since the cooking guild is there. So, knowing how much demand there is for your item is critical.

Regional vendors only sell items if that kingdom controls that region for the week. For example, many cooking ingredients can only be obtained from the Lower Elshimo regional vendor. Since that area (Yuhtunga Jungle) is often controlled by beastmen, one possible strategy would be to find out what ingredients the vendor sells, then stock up on the in-demand ones while the region is under player control. When it reverts to beastman control, you have a firm grip on the market for that product and can often set your own prices. You create a short-term monopoly on the product, until you run out of supply or the region gets retaken by players.

Start a production chain. Many miners already understand this one. So, I'll use mining as an example. Mining can be a wonderful way to make money. HOWEVER, if you sell the ores, you're just lining the smiths' or goldsmiths' pockets with gil. They're charging a markup on your ores. So, start smithing or goldsmithing yourself! Turn those ores into ingots, then turn the ingots into products (or just sell the ingots directly). Generally, with each stage of a product's life you make a profit. You profit from mining the ores... you turn the ores into ingots and they're worth more. You turn the ingots into products and they're worth even more. You're forcing your item to appreciate in value. So, instead of selling an ore for 500 gil, you're selling a piece of armour for 3000 gil.

Unfortunately in FFXI Gil game, you only receive one content ID to play with initially that lets you create a single character unless you pay an additional $1.39 for 2 more character slots. You will need to get a total of 3 slots to use this guide. You will need 3 characters, one in each major city. Bastok, San d'Oria, and Windhurst. Items in 1 city may be valued more than another depending on availability and etc. Whichever city you choose to play as your main is fine. As you complete quests, build your fame and receive rewards and items, be sure to check out the AH in other cities to check where it's selling at the highest rate.

The downside to employing such a furious power? I think that can be summed up in the nickname "glass cannon". The Black Mage can dish out the pain but when the favor is returned by a powerful and angry mob, the Black Mage won't last for long.
